Avem, the self styled Ramonescore bird nerds from the idyllic countryside of Southern Ontario released their debut full length, Three Birds Stoned, at the end of August 2022, whilst that mini bio does give you a good idea of what’s in store on their debut full length, that’s not the whole story, this is not a specialist album designed solely for the ears of their fellow twitchers. The band’s opening self titled introduction recalls Teenage Bottlerocket in full flight, indicating that Chris Packham is not the only conservationist who loves a bit of full tilt punk rock.
