Back in the early 80s, Ausgang emerged from the punk and post-punk scenes, they then found themselves amongst the first wave of the newly-minted ‘goth’ scene. It was all over by ’87… until 2000 when Cherry Red Records released a retrospective, this led to calls from abroad to reform & play a bunch of festivals, which they duly did & then went back to their day jobs.
