Our recent guests, shoegazin’ dream pop rockers SLOW CRUSH, have teamed up with Lost Century Kid to recreate two of the most dreamy tracks on the critically acclaimed Slow Crush debut album ‘Aurora’. Bringing Isa Holliday’s soothing voice up front seemed like the obvious thing to do. Softly shaping arrangements around it was quite the therapeutic journey, but at the same time a very mindful process. Considerately filling up space between vocals and guitars, like the Juno-60 melody in “Collide”. Or, completely altering the song structure and harmonies in “Aurora”.At first, all of this happened in real time, jamming along with the original tracks.
