AT THE DRIVE-IN / SPARTA’s Jim Ward announces debut solo album

Dine Alone Records has announced the debut album from Jim Ward, founder of emo rock outfit SPARTA and member of legendardy post-hardcore act At the Drive-In. Dubbed “Daggers”, the new album was written during the pandemic, with the help of Incubus bassist Ben Kenney and Thursday drummer Tucker Rule! Ward has shared a new track off fof the record called “Paper Fish”. Comments Ward : “My friends did this for the pure love of making music with a friend. There’s no higher compliment. I don’t know how I’ll repay them.”  “‘Paper Fish’ was the last song I wrote for Daggers. It seemed like it was the final piece of a puzzle I had been working on.
