The third studio album from Chicago-based punk rockers Screeching Weasel, My Brain Hurts, is celebrating its 30-year anniversary. The album followed a brief band breakup, and features Screeching Weasel returning with a new lineup and a new shift in genre, ultimately producing what would be the band’s most influential LP. My Brain Hurts was recorded and released shortly after their signing to Lookout Records and was the only release with bassist Dave Naked, also the band’s first release with Dan Panic on drums.
