Deafheavens’ Roads To Judah turns 10 years old, and what a ride it’s been for both the band and album. Roads To Judah is best described as emotive, shoegaze, infused black metal. Needless to say, both Deafheaven and Roads to Judah were met with quite a bit of opposition by many diehard black metal fans, but found a niche within the genre of “blackgaze,” winning many of those naysayers over.
