Album Review: Yelawolf & Shooter Jennings – Sometimes Y

It’s taken years for the seemingly disparate artists from two different spectrums of the music world to come together, but Outlaw Country scion Shooter Jennings and hip hop’s Yelawolf have created a wildly entertaining rock record with Sometimes Y. “When you’re a kid in school, they teach you all these rules about spelling, but then they tell you about ‘sometimes y,’ which calls the entire system into question,” said Jennings explaining the album title. “Suddenly everything’s out the window, and you can do whatever you want.
