Album Review: Wingtips – Cutting Room Floor

Wingtips just released their goth-pop record, Cutting Room Floor on September 3 via Artoffact Records. The duo leans heavily on dark, ’80s sounds, while modernizing their sound as the record chucks along. Songs like “Minimilistic” and “Crystal Clear” carry out a hyper-electronic sounds. Choruses are filled with complimenting melodies filling listeners ears with hooks that are unforgettable. “Repetitive” pushes a stagnant dance beat alongside light inflection in monotone vocals.
