Album Review: The Deathray Davies – Time Well Wasted

With their first full length in almost 15 years, Dallas-based Indie rock/pop band The Deathray Davies has just reminded the collective world of how much they were missed. Time Well Wasted is 13 tracks of well-crafted garage and power songs, a remarkably satisfying record and quite possibly their best effort yet. Though the band never actually broke up, members have been busy working with other musicians for the past decade-plus. “I quickly wrote 13 songs in a row, realizing right away that they were DRD songs,” said front man and band constant John Dufilho. “I sent demos to the band, asking if they wanted to jump back in.
