Album Review – Sylvaine – Nova

There have been a number of artists who have put it all together over the past couple of years to deliver their magnum opus. I’m not sure if it’s the extra time spent not traveling or the increased ability to focus on creation for the sake of creation and not just to get out and tour, but it’s been wonderful to see (hear?) bands taking risks or finally reaching their potential. Norwegian/French composer Kathrine Shepard (aka Sylvaine) has stood out from many other similarly-minded acts by virtue of the clear emphasis on songwriting and composition.
