Album Review: Space Of Variations – Imago

Ukrainian metalcore quartet Space of Variations are coming in hot with their newest release, Imago. This is an incredibly impressive feat in terms of modern metal. Space of Variations truly thought outside of the box with this release, flipping metalcore on its head, borrowing ideas from different genres, but still staying true to their metal roots. Imago breaks down the barriers of what is and isn’t metal. From the start of Imago, it is an assault, and it doesn’t let up. Each track tears into the listener, sacrificing nothing on their end. Each instrument is in perfect harmony with each other, crafted through what can only be years of practice and passion.
