Album Review – Pridelands – Light Bends

One of the hobbies I took up over COVID was cocktail making, aka mixology. It allowed me to feel like I could put my pharmacy degree to use when not on the clock, and it also served (pun intended) as a way to elevate what my wife and I were drinking when we chose to imbibe. The biggest lesson, aside from realizing I knew more than the “experts” about what I actually liked, was that being careful in selecting both the right ingredients (you don’t want a sweet bourbon for a Manhattan) and dialing up the right amounts. Also, and this is important, sometimes a “key” ingredient is something that doesn’t work for you, and that’s OK. The best margarita for me has no triple sec/Cointreau.
