The Chicago pun kings, Pet Symmetry, are back with their third full album, Future Suits. The album is being released as a joint project via Asian Man Records and the band’s own label/Patreon, Storm Chasers, Ltd., on August 13. Future Suits is an emo word-smith quarantine album, reflecting on the past two years (and the years to come). While Pet Symmetry doesn’t seems to have high hopes for the future, the album is bouncy and jubilant. Pet Symmetry’s sound is Midwestern emo driven, full of nerdy lyric easter eggs, electronics and synthesizers, and melodic Death Cab for Cutie vocals over fun drums.
