Album Review: Pardoner – Came Down Different

The San Francisco-based group Pardoner – who perform what sounds like it could be deemed surf punk – capture exhilarating blasts of breezy energy on their fist pump-ready and relatively sunny new album Came Down Different. The album is available now from Bar None Records.  “I Wanna Get High To The Music,” which appears second on the consistently propulsive record, delivers what seems like a mission statement for the journey in its title alone, although its noticeably bright and jaunty rhythms greatly expand the experience.
