Album Review: N8NOFACE – HOMICIDE

Los Angeles-based, Tucson-born artist N8NOFACE has released his newest album HOMICIDE through Blackhouse Records. Always blurring the line between hardcore punk and hip hop bravado,  the artist seems even more honed in with his newest release, as though he walks the dangerous path he’s described in previous releases with an even clearer head than before. That being said, there’s still plenty of his signature heavy synthesizers, pummeling drum ‘n’ bass rhythms, and powerviolence-esque song length. The beginning of HOMICIDE sounds as though it starts in media res, as N8 begins it with an already buzzing synthesizer and the yells of Gnarface.
