Album Review: MouthBreather – I’m Sorry Mr. Salesman

Mouthbreather is generally not a compliment. If somebody calls you that, you might want to rethink how you present yourself to others … Although that may be changing — not due to the improved behavior of your average reply guy, mind you—but due to a certain group of exalted brutes out of Boston. I’m talking, of course, about the metalcore band, MouthBreather, who just dropped their debut LP, I’m Sorry Mr. Salesman, via Good Fight.  MotherBreather’s sound is very much inspired by the ambitious metalcore of the late ’90s and early ’00s when bands like Converge and Dillinger Escape Plan were meticulously constructing twisted manors of sound guided by principles of hostile architecture.
