Album Review: Lost Legion – Bridging Electricity

Here is an outstanding three song EP from Chicago’s Lost Legion, Bridging Electricity. The vocalist/guitarist is Ian Wise who played in Snake Handler and Fuerza Bruta; and runs the stellar Foreign Legion Records. Rounded out by Dave Fortunato (Warrior Tribes, Future Shock) delivering a bombastic performance on drums; and Kyle on Bass and Christine on Vocals. I know it shouldn’t be a thing—as opposed to, say, pop music or soul music, but the reality is that it is a thing. Albeit, female presence has greatly improved in the last 10 years for hardcore and punk, but, in Oi, female vocals are rare. But the closing track, “Tonite,” is raised echelons due to the vocals by Christine. This track has added structure thanks to this decision.
