Album Review: Ignite – Self-Titled

It is difficult to review a band’s first album since they’ve gone through a significant lineup change. That elephant roams freely around the room until it’s (usually) addressed in the first few sentences of the review. Ignite fall into this category, with a lot of people eager to find out how they will sound with Eli Santana holding the microphone in place of the departed Zoli Teglas. This made their self-titled album a highly anticipated one, complete with a successful payoff. Ignite didn’t switch up their sound when they switched up their singer.
