Lovers and romantics, rejoice! Foxy Shazam have released their newest album The Heart Behead You on February 14, Valentine’s Day, and it’s a lovely listen. Coming at you with nine new songs that all have to do with love, they combine pop rock, funk, and alt rock to make one incredible and fun album. Releasing their first single “I’m In Love” last year, it comes in at a little over a minute, and is the intro to the album. It certainly showcases how the album will sound and is a great opener, but other than that, it’s a small blip when considering the bigger picture of the album. “Dancing With My Demons,” the second single released a bit over a month ago, is a more accurate example of how The Heart Behead You goes in scope and composition.
