As it turns out the song itself is apolitical, dwelling more on the ‘antisocial’ than the ‘socialist’ as Danny Worsnop dreams of solitude and implores, ‘Please stay away from me / ‘Cause I don’t fucking like you.’ There are a lot of people who feel the same way about Asking Alexandria of course, but here’s the thing. They don’t really care what you think about them. A thick skin can be an asset for a band.
