Lot Lizards Share “Cash On Fire” From Upcoming “The Horrors Of Adulting” Album

With less than a month left before the release of their Punkerton Records debut full-length, The Horrors Of Adulting, St. Petersburg punks, Lot Lizards, have given us one final appetizer to tide us over. Cash On Fire starts off with heavy guitar riffs and machine gun drums reminiscent of Pennywise and Propagandhi. Lyrically, the song has the heart of No Use For a Name and Lagwagon. It’s a song about the comfort of escape and the idea of living freely, even though that isn’t very practical.

“‘Cash On Fire’ is about the desire to throw all your belongings away, travel the world and burn through all your money in the process. Obviously, we can’t do that, but the thought of it is comforting at times.” (vocalist & guitarist Jon Barnes)
