In an awesome new video documenting his classic car collection, Metallica frontman James Hetfield has discussed his love for motors and where this obsession started, as well as a look around his snazzy garage. The five-minute mini-documentary – which serves as a teaser for the recently launched Reclaimed Rust exhibit – was made by Petersen Automotive Museum, whom James donated his car collection to last year. “Reclaimed Rust to me means that you take an old guitar and it’s sitting there with songs still in it, waiting for someone to pick it up and bring life into it,” he explains at the start of the video. “That’s what I love and I’ve done that with many of these cars.
