Three years after releasing their debut album, Somnambulo, post-punk/industrial outfit Mother Ghost recently dropped their sophomore long player, Radio Fantasma, produced by aCr. According to the duo, brothers Oscar and Thomas Flores, “Radio Fantasma is about the anxieties of everyday life and the things that help us get through to the next day. Most of the lyrics on the album come from our personal life, a news story, or social grievance.” Originally a typical, three-piece punk band, after a revolving door of drummers, Mother Ghost devolved into a duo, allowing them to utilize drum machines and sequencers as well as giving them the freedom to explore the experimental complexities of contemporary post-punk music.
