Cherry Red Records & Captain Oi! Records are set to release a 36 track double CD containing the first two albums by UK punk legends 999 on the 9th August. Disc one features the band’s 1977 self titled debut album along with seven bonus tracks, including the singles I’m Alive, Nasty! Nasty!, No Pity and Me And My Desire. The second disc contains 1978’s Separates album which features five bonus tracks, including the Top 40 single Homicide. The expanded reissue also includes a booklet that features lyrics to all of the songs along with pictures of all relevant record sleeves. Vocalist Nick Cash and guitarist Guy Days still lead 999 to this day, some 47 years after first forming, and are still regulars at the major European Punk festivals.
