Bottom Bracket are a mathy emo band who hail from the always-strong mathy emo hotbed of Chicago, and they just signed to a label that’s been dedicated to this kind of music for almost two decades, Count Your Lucky Stars. Their first single for the label is “Unsavory,” which follows their 2020 debut LP I Don’t Care Enough to Stay and 2022 EP A Figure In Armor. It’s catchy, fidgety, and energetic in a way that reminds me of Proper-era Into It.
