State Faults announce new album ‘Children of the Moon,’ share “Palo Santo”

Santa Rosa screamo band State Faults finally followed 2013’s great Resonate / Desperate with Clairvoyant in 2019, and it sounded like it would take less time for that album’s followup, but as you may have heard, a pandemic got in the way. So, five years later, they’ve finally announced their next album, Children of the Moon. It was produced by TWIABP’s Chris Teti and it comes out July 26 via Deathwish Inc in the US and Dog Knights in the UK/Europe (pre-order). The first taste is “Palo Santo,” which finds the band in great form. It’s towering, heavy, and melodic in equal measure.
