Melodic hardcore greats The Hope Conspiracy made a surprise return late last year with their first new EP in 14 years, Confusion/Chaos/Misery, and now they’ve announced another new record and some live shows. Tools Of Oppression / Rule By Deception will be out May 3 via Deathwish, and the label says it’s an album, but so far no other details have been revealed. Stay tuned. The shows happen at Cambridge’s Sonia on June 7, Brooklyn’s Meadows on June 8, and Philly’s First Unitarian Church on June 9.
