Sheffield, UK’s Be Fair have today released their new single, Hadfield 5. The track is another melodic gruff punk anthem straight from the heart that follows on from last December’s Montreal Screwjob single. Hadfield 5 is the second of three tracks recorded with Andy Hawkins at Nave Studio in Leeds. Hadfield 5 is named after the Sheffield Hospital ward where guitarist and second vocalist Dickie Allen spent time recovering from life threatening blood clots on his lungs. The song deals with the raw and personal feelings Allen went through while recovering and both the mental and physical impact of his experience, touching on themes of survivor’s guilt and the universal fear of mortality.
