After last year’s fiasco of a worldwide pandemic, bands are finally releasing the music they have crafted over the time in quarantine. We Were Promised Jetpacks are no different, having had the time to sit down and write new material over the grueling year of 2020. Their blend of indie rock has taken a different but familiar shape in their newest release Enjoy The View. Lead singer Adam Thompson went on to explain about the album that “we properly started writing this album at the end of March 2020 when we realised that everything was going to be shut down and that touring wasn’t going to be a possibility any time soon.
