If there is one thing that I’ve learned on the many decades that I have (some how!) managed to stay alive on this island Earth, is that there is a time and a place for loud, ugly and abrasive music. And that time and place is right god damned now! Black Market Kidney Surgeon are a Tennessee crust punk band very much in the fashion of Warthog or Iskra. On their self-titled EP, the band delivers infected inflections of crud-covered, scrapping grooves and riffs that harbor deadly levels of antibiotic-resistant feedback, all with a brooding, surely swagger comparable to Bad Breeding half-in-the-bag and on a bender.
