Metallica’s 2003 St. Anger album has been in the headlines a fair amount recently – first, producer Bob Rock defended the record’s controversial snare drum sound, and then drummer Lars Ulrich later stated, “I stand behind it one hundred per cent.” Now, the band are continuing to celebrate the LP, with this week’s Metallica Mondays filmed on their Madly In Anger With The World 2004 tour. The metal heroes were supported by Slipknot for the epic run, with this particular filmed date taken from Munich, Germany’s huge Olympic Stadium. According to the band’s website, it “represented the largest venue Metallica has performed at in Munich as a headliner”, which is pretty damn cool.
